Our By-Laws



The OCYSL shall be operated in accordance with the by-laws of the USYSO (US Youth Soccer Association) and NMYSA (NM Youth Soccer Association, www.nmysa.net ), and as modified or adapted herein. Play shall be IAW the USYSO Rules of the Game, and refereed in accordance with FIFA Laws of the Game.

The internet is full of great coaching resources, this page is designed to act as a portal to many of those resources. Here you will find lesson plans, links to great coaching websites and soccer blogs.

Grassroots Coaching Licenses:

The USSF has recently re-vamped its course offerings and launched new Grassroots licenses. The objective of the new pathway is to make educational opportunities easily accessible through the offering of both online and in person licensing. The candidate-centered Grassroots License courses will be available in either two hour online, or in four hour in-person, courses for each of the following game models: 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11. The training methodology in these courses will shift to 'Play-Practice-Play' to encourage experiential learning in a reality based environment.
